el Casal de Barcelona van enfrontar-se cont\u00ednuament en grans campanyes en qu\u00e8 intervenien ass\u00edduament papes i altres poders italians, hisp\u00e0nics i francesos, un aut\u00e8ntic \u00abjoc de trons\u00bb en qu\u00e8 la Corona catalanoaragonesa va sortir sovint vencedora fins a convertir la Mediterr\u00e0nia occidental en un imperi sota el seu control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Abordant el conflicte des del punt de vista de cada facci\u00f3, l?historiador angl\u00e8s David Abulafia aconsegueix resumir en poques p\u00e0gines els interessos i les gestes de les diferents dinasties, i els contextualitza amb el funcionament de l?economia i el xoc entre religions, tot plegat per aconseguir la comprensi\u00f3 global d?un m\u00f3n enlluernador en un assaig
