Ejerci\u00f3 con prestigio en Val\u00e8ncia, llegando a ser examinador de m\u00e9dicos y profesor de cirug\u00eda. Fue m\u00e9dico de Roderic de Borja, al que acompa\u00f1\u00f3 a Roma al igual que Gaspar de Torrella (1452-1520), cuando fue designado papa, libr\u00e1ndose as\u00ed de la represi\u00f3n que padecieron los conversos de origen jud\u00edo a principios del siglo XVI \u2013como Llu\u00eds Alcany\u00eds. Public\u00f3 dos obras: Aggregator sententiarum doctorum omnium de preservatione et curatione pestilentiae (Roma, 1499), acerca de la epidemia (tifus) que asol\u00f3 Roma en 1493, interpret\u00e1ndola en t\u00e9rminos astrol\u00f3gicos. Mayor importancia tuvo otra: De morbo foedo et occulto his temporibus affligente (1500), considerada una de las principales fuentes y m\u00e1s precisas descripciones de la enfermedad de la s\u00edfilis. La edici\u00f3n original, un cuaderno en cuarto, est\u00e1 impreso en caracteres g\u00f3ticos, 44 p\u00e1ginas en veintid\u00f3s cap\u00edtulos, precedidos de una introducci\u00f3n y un breve discurso dirigido a Alejandro VI.
